IntiCreates announced some big things at BitSummit this year. The most impressive for long-time Castlevania fans was definitely Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. IGA showcased the 8-bit-inspired game that was announced on the Kickstarter for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night years ago. Zangetsu doesn’t wield a whip – but will instead dispose of evil using a giant sword instead. This definitely bears a resemblance of Odallus – another ‘vania-esque game, but the more the merrier when it comes to that style of action. Those seeking some whip-flailing action will want to play as Miriam, who uses one while Alfred is an alchemist and uses more long-range attacks. Gebel resembles the SOTN-era Alucard a bit and can transform into a bat at will. You can transform into any of these characters as you need to in order to move on in the game. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon hits the Vita, PS4, Xbox One, 3DS, Switch, and PC on May 24.
