It is looking like the licenses for the courses in 2015’s Rory McIlroy PGA Tour may all be expiring. A game that has not seen a sequel or any updates will not only be leaving EA Access on May 22, but will be leaving digital stores altogether. This could be a good sign as EA may potentially be gearing up for a new game, but signs ultimately look to be pointing the other way. A very solid golf game that never met the expectations of the previous generation’s Tiger Woods series, Rory McIlroy PGA Tour had a lot to build on but featured limited content. No word if EA plans to take down the online servers or not, but the only way to purchase the game will be via a physical medium going forward.
