THQ Nordic Admit Release Dates for Biomutant, Darksiders 3 Still Up in the Air

If you were hoping for some kind of targeted release date — or even a specified quarter/window for that matter — for either of THQ Nordic’s two, more notable projects in Biomutant or Darksiders 3, going into this year’s E3, you may want to conserve expectations for a later time. During their quarterly financial report for Q1 2018 published earlier today, the company admitted that the scheduling of either title has, as they say, “not yet been decided”, perhaps suggesting that a 2018 release for both games is now unlikely.

Biomutant is an intriguing Action RPG that has you take on the role of a continually-evolving, weapon-wielding animal in a vast and lush open-world environment, while Darksiders 3 is the third instalment — the first in six years — in, original developers, Vigil Games’ action-adventure series and sees Gunfire Games taking over main duties. THQ Nordic have already confirmed that 4A Games’ Metro: Exodus has been pushed back into Q1 2019.
