Call of Duty Dropping Steam for Black Ops 4’s PC Release, Exclusive to

In much the same vain as Activision’s other first-person shooter series, Destiny, Call of Duty is ditching Steam for its PC release this time round, instead releasing on Blizzard’s own platform. Beenox, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Activision, have been confirmed as assisting with porting the game onto the platform.

As well as all the usual bells and whistles that come with PC iterations — such as additional video and graphic settings — as well as social features integrated into itself, Black Ops 4 will also support 4K resolution and high-dynamic range output. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches October 12.
