Sci-Fi Co-op Shooter Earthfall Receives a Release Date

A few months ago, it was revealed that Earthfall, the new sci-fi co-op shooter from Seattle-based developers Holospark, would be leaving Early Access this Spring. Well, it turns out we were off by one season, as it was announced recently that the game has now locked down a concrete release date for this July. In addition, the developers have also announced that they’ve teamed up with Gearbox Publishing in order to provide physical copies for the PS4 and XB1.

Taking place in the Pacific Northwest, the game sees four people teaming up to fend off an alien invasion that has emerged after a meteor strike. To do so, they’ll make use of weapons, defenses, and tools created via 3D printers, as seen in the new trailer below (which, if we’re being honest, doesn’t exactly contain the best voice acting or dubbing). Reception during its Early Access period so far seems to have been pretty positive, so here’s hoping for the best for Earthfall when it hits PC, PS4, and XB1 on July 13.
