After a leak from French website JeuxVideoLive earlier today, Ubisoft decided to go ahead and just announce that yes, the next Assassin’s Creed will be set in Ancient Greece, and will be called Odyssey.
They quickly announced the game with a short trailer on their Twitter, which has a Spartan soldier kicking another off a cliff 300-style.

The tweet reads, “See you at E3!,” so surely we can expect much more information to come. E3 begins on June 9, with EA Play kicking it all off. Ubisoft’s press conference will be held on Monday, June 11 at 4 pm EST.
