E3 2018: Attack of the Clones Coming to Star Wars: Battlefront II with New Characters, Planet

With plenty of new EA games on the horizon after today’s E3 press conference, the publisher still took some time to discuss the future of one of their titles from last year, Star Wars: Battlefront II.

After a brief apology from DICE Design Director Dennis Brannvall and a look at how Battlefront II has changed since its troubled launch, Brannvall revealed the exciting news on the next period of time the upcoming DLC will focus on: the Clone Wars. In addition to a new map set on the planet Geonosis, EA also announced that General Kenobi, Count Dooku, Anakin Skywalker and General Grievous will all be playable heroes and villains in the future.

No release window was announced for this piece of upcoming DLC, but the full version of Star Wars: Battlefront II is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC, with our review addressing the steps forward and backwards that this sequel takes.
