E3 2018: EA Reveals More of Sea of Solitude

Despite suddenly popping up at EA Play this year, Sea of Solitude isn’t anything THAT new, having first been announced to be made with assistance from EA in December 2016. But now we finally got to see more of the third-person exploration game from Berlin-based developers Jo-Mei Games, complete with a new trailer that you can check out below. It’s the journey of a young girl named Kay, and as you can see, it will be a rather colorful yet creepy journey indeed…

Set in a flooded world where humans turn into monsters if they get too lonely, Kay has to traverse the vast ocean and its ruins (via sail and by foot) while avoiding its dangers in order to discover a way to turn back into a human, believing that the key lies within the creatures lurking within the waters. Sea of Solitude is due out in Early 2019 for PS4, XB1, and PC, and looks to be a promising feather in the EA Originals cap.
