E3 2018: Session’s Slick Skateboarding Showcased in New Trailer

Session made a splash back on Kickstarter last year, reaching its funding goal in just four days. And while it wasn’t entirely a secret that the skateboarding simulator from creā-ture Studios would be heading to Xbox One, it was still a surprise to see it during Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference, to the point where many mistook it for Skate 4 (which led to “Skate 4” actually trending for a while on Twitter). But it did indeed show up to drop of its new E3 trailer, which you can naturally check out below.

The title aims to perfectly capture the essence of the late ’90s and early 2000s, when the skateboarding scene was at its highest boom, and the clip below does a pretty great job of that as well, right down to its use of a Hieroglyphics song. Session is due out in 2019, but will be hitting Early Access and Xbox One Game Preview by the end of this year, so keep an eye out for it.
