Friday the 13th: The Game has provided fans of the horror franchise with quite an intriguing asymmetric multiplayer game. Gun Media have also been providing updates and a few new costumes since launch.
Unfortunately, it looks like this may already be the end of new content for the game. Since release, Friday the 13th: The Game has been plagued by a legal claim against the game – despite previously being in the clear legally as an officially licensed Friday the 13th game.
As this legal threat continues to drag on without any resolution, they have decided the best course is to stop producing additional content. This means the promise of new counselors, clothing, emotes and Uber Jason are not coming to fruition.
With that said, Gun Media are still working on dedicated console servers, bug fixing and other maintenance.
