Sega’s recent video game adaptation of Fist of the North Star has been out in Japan since March of this year and before today, it was unclear on whether the game would ever be localised for Western audiences. Thankfully, Sega have provided us with some good news, today officially announcing that the game will indeed be heading to US & European shores under the title Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise.
As you might expect, players take control of series protagonist Kenshiro as he explores an alternate take on the post-apocalyptic world present within the original manga. Taking down thugs and helping people in need as a result. The game is developed by the same folks behind the acclaimed Yakuza series so expect plenty of over-the-top and hyper-violent combat in this latest, self-described action-adventure RPG.
Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will release exclusively for PS4 on October 2. Check out the game’s announcement trailer below.
