E3 2018: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Features New Stages and Final Smash Attacks

Fans have been waiting for Nintendo’s E3 presentation ever since a great showing last year. Now, with all sorts of titles to get hyped for, the future looks pretty good for the company. One of those big names is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The game was teased very briefly during a recent Nintendo Direct but today we received all kinds of new information! Like, a ton of it! There are changes to some character’s Final Smash moves. Pit, Falco, Zero Suit Samus all get something new from their previous iterations. Different animations take place for others while keeping the same same attack such as Wario, Ness, Mega Man and more. Some who never had a Final Smash are getting to check it out with Pichu and Young Link being examples. It is unsure what they’ll have at the moment!

As with Final Smashes, some older stages received changes and makeovers. New additions include Great Plateau Tower from Breath of the Wild which can damage and open up for more aerial combat. Moray Towers from Splatoon are shown to have a daylight and Splatfest night appearance. All stages will now have a regular and battlefield form to make for level playing fields. 3DS stages such as Tortimer Island have been added as well. Some are making a comeback like Termina: Great Bay.

There was a lot of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate information revealed, so be sure to check out all of our articles. And pick up the game when it releases December 7.
