In a Tweet earlier today, the official Nintendo Versus Twitter revealed more information about a beloved hero for the anticipated Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. After a long absence, Young Link makes his return to the Smash stage as part of an incredibly impressive character roster. Super Smash Bros. Melee, seventeen years ago, was the last we saw of the Ocarina playing, Majora’s Mask wearing version of everyone’s favorite Hylian.
While we don’t yet have more information about everything in his arsenal, Nintendo promises this Link to be more agile and nimble, yet easier to launch as well. His gameplay trailer shows him in a flurry of blade strokes while weaving around opponents. Get ready to chug some Lon Lon and play as Young Link when Super Smash Ultimate launches on December 7 for the Nintendo Switch.
