NISA had quite a showing at Anime Expo 2018, where not only did they give some updates on titles that are already being anticipated but they announced three games on the horizon. The first is The Princess Guide, coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in 2019. A war torn land has allowed a great evil to rise to power, and four princesses from four different kingdoms must learn how to lead their people to victory. The player steps in as an experienced knight who must choose a princess to train in the ways of war and leadership. The story will unfold differently depending on the chosen princess to train, whether it is the vengeful Veronica, the gluttonous Liliarties, the chivalrous Monomaria or the dragon princess Alpana. Fast paced strategic battles will unfold with the princesses’ behavior influenced by the player’s tutelage, making the decision to scold or praise an important one.
Remember The Caligula Effect on the Vita? A pumped up version called The Caligula Effect: Overdose is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Switch in 2019 that features twice the story content, overhauled UI, enhanced visuals, new characters including two new members of the Go Home Club, a playable female protagonist along with additional story paths and endings. The Caligula Effect: Overdoes features a unique combat system that combines action with a turn based traditional JRPG format where players can use the imaginary chain to predict their enemies’ next move.
