Spyro Reignited Trilogy Will Allow Switching Between Original, Remastered Soundtrack

During a panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that the Spyro Trilogy’s original composer, Stewart Copeland would be returning to score the updated, remastered version of Spyro’s own current-gen return in the form of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Better still, rather than replacing the original soundtrack to the series’ first three games, it’s been confirmed that players will be able to switch between both versions — original and remastered — at any time with a simple visit to the options menu during gameplay. No need to quit out and start over. Copeland joins Tom Kenny, the original voice of Spyro, whom is also set to return when the Reignited Trilogy releases for PS4 and Xbox One on September 21.
