Avalanche Studio’s upcoming open-world action game, featuring a slew of killer robots in an alternate 1980’s Sweden, will be getting a physical release outside of its self-published digital version. THQ Nordic have announced that they will help bring the game to retail. “We’re happy to partner up with THQ again with our brand-new IP, Generation Zero.” Pim Holfve, CEO of Avalanche Studios, explained. “With a strong partner like THQ we can put our full focus on what we’re best at; making fantastic game experiences.”
Generation Zero is aiming for a 2019 release across PS4, Xbox One & PC. But before that, not one but two of Avalanche’s other upcoming titles are on the horizon via Just Cause 4 which releases this December as well as their collaboration with id Software with Rage 2 which itself is aiming for a Q1/Q2 release next year.
