Splatoon 2 has quite a lot going for it. It’s primarily a competitive multiplayer shooter like so many other games out there, but unlike the rest it manages to do something completely different with the idea. Players are given plenty of reasons to come back due to the constantly rotating maps, plenty of gear earn, and weapons to grind towards. The single player and cooperative modes aren’t half bad either. Oh, and the music, love it or hate it, has a kind of spice and energy to it that just isn’t seen anywhere else in gaming.
Fans of Splatoon 2 and its music can now get a brief glimpse behind the scenes and see some of those responsible for making the game’s soundtrack what it is. No special insight or commentary is available in the video seen above, but it is a nice reminder that there are indeed still people and artists that pour themselves into creating this stuff.
Splatoon 2 is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
