Bandai Namco today announced when Nintendo Switch players can get their hands on the Dragon Ball FighterZ beta.
Dragon Ball FighterZ launches on Switch late September, but fans have a chance to play early in August. Taking to Twitter, Bandai Nacmo confirmed that the Dragon Ball FighterZ Switch open beta will take place in August. No exact date yet.

In the same Tweet, the publisher also confirmed that the Switch version will launch with new local multiplayer features. First off, players can participate in 2v2 and 1v1 matches with their friends on the same couch. Secondly, an offline six-player Party Match mode will be offered. It is currently unknown if these new local multiplayer features will make their way to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Dragon Ball FighterZ hits Nintendo Switch on September 28. The game is currently available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
