Gran Turismo Sport July Update Officially Released

Polyphony Digital is once again unleashing a good bit of content for Gran Turismo Sport. Update 1.23 will include a brand new track known as Circuit de Saint-Croix, a fantasy track based in France. New outfits for drivers and the ability to place your driver in scapes for photos have also been included. The cars included are, again, a very wide variety. This is highlighted by the inclusion of Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes Formula One car. The 2017 Mercedes-AMG F1 W08 will be the first true Formula One car in a Gran Turismo game since the Ferrari F2010 back on Gran Turismo 5. What will be great about this car will be the ability to customize and download different liveries that should allow for a variety of F1 cars in the game. This car can also be driven in the VR mode.

There will be seven cars total that also includes a group of Japanese compact cars. The 2002 Daihatsu Copen, 2015 Honda S660 and 1991 Honda Beat will provide a different class of racing that isn’t seen too much. The other three cars are of legend status as the update provides the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car from the previous generation, and the 1991 Mazda 787B touring car with its recognizable orange and green livery. The trailer is below and the update is live as of today.
