Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us Hits Theaters this November

During the last several months we have seen bits and pieces of the brand new Pokémon movie. It released in Japan this past month and will be making its way to North American audiences this November. The Power of Us mixes new characters and Pokémon with familiar moments.

A new trailer was released to give fans a sneak preview of what’s to come. We meet a young lady who doesn’t know anything about Pokémon but embarks on a journey to learn as much as possible and become a trainer. She has an Eevee and meets Ash and Pikachu. It seems the Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee games were in the minds of the film’s team. The two trainers befriend others in a seaside town and they all band together to keep everything from being destroyed. The legendary Lugia makes an appearance much like Pokémon the Movie 2000 but seems to play a different role. We are also teased with a brief glimpse of Zeraora, a brand new mythical Pokémon. What these two have to do with the film is yet to be seen.

Currently, the plan is to show the movie at participating theaters through Fathom Events on November 24, 26, 28 and December 1. Let’s hope more dates get added! Have a look at the video below to learn more about The Power of Us.
