Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Beta PC Requirements Revealed

Treyarch today revealed the specs you’ll need to run the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta on PC.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is like no previous Call of Duty game on PC. For the first time in franchise history, the only service you can buy and play it on is Battle.net. Beenox is handling the port, and they’re ready to show players they’re work. Starting August 11, all PC players can download and play the Black Ops 4 beta. First though, you’ll need to make sure your PC can run it.

The official minimum and recommended requirements for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 beta have been published. Note that these specs only apply to the beta. Official specs for the full game won’t be released until testing and optimization are complete.

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 2500k or AMD equivalent
  • RAM: 8GB RAM
  • HDD: 25GB HD space
  • Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2 GB / GTX 1050 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850
  • DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

  • CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k or AMD equivalent
  • RAM: 12GB RAM
  • HDD: 25GB HD space
  • Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 390 / AMD RX 580
  • DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Beta weekend 2 kicks-off August 10 and runs through August 13, and this time Xbox One and PC players can join in. Treyarch has already highlighted numerous issues they intend to fix based on beta weekend 1.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out October 12 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
