Cuphead Celebrates Triple Platinum with Discounts

With the first anniversary of Cuphead closing in, the celebrated 2D run-and-gun indie has officially sold three million units. To commemorate this milestone, Studio MDHR is giving Xbox users a 20% discount when they pick up the game. Additionally, the Studio MDHR team will mark the occasion with extra special giveaways over the next few days. With gorgeous art direction, secret surprises and a slick play style, it’s no wonder Cuphead has proven so successful in its first year alone. Co-Director of Cuphead, Chad Moldenhauer, speaks to what has made the game such a hit, “With Cuphead, we always had one goal in mind: to make a game that we loved playing ourselves. One that could pay tribute to the artists, designers, and musicians that we grew up with.
