The reception to the remaster of 2008’s Burnout Paradise — as much the return of a cult racing series we hadn’t seen in some time prior — was pretty good overall when it released for consoles earlier this year, but as with most games, it’s the inevitable PC version that many will be clambering for answers regarding its overall quality, both visually and in performance. Well Criterion have finally given us a date as to when the game will be available for the platform and it’s not that long a wait.
Burnout Paradise Remastered will be available for PC, via EA Origin, on August 21. Those with Origin Access and Premier can download the game right now. What’s more, the game will support up to 4K resolution and will come bundled with the Big Surf Island update — that released after the original’s launch back in June 2009 — day one.
