Call of Duty: Blackout Beta Dates Announced for PC, Xbox One

Activision and Treyarch today announced when the Call of Duty: Blackout beta begins on Xbox One and PC.

Last week, the duo confirmed PS4 players would get first dibs on the Blackout beta. What remained a mystery was when Xbox One and PC players would get a chance to try out the battle royale mode. Now, we have dates for the last two platforms.

Taking to Twitter, Treyarch confirmed that the Blackout beta starts September 14 on Xbox One and PC. PS4 players get it four days early on September 10. It is currently unknown when the beta ends on any platform.

Blackout is Call of Duty’s battle royale mode and comes with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Details about the mode have been scarce, but we do know it’ll feature vehicles, iconic Black Ops locations and characters, and feature solo, duo, and quad game modes. The size of the map and player count remain a mystery.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out October 12 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
