The last few trailers for Shadow of the Tomb Raider portrayed Lara Croft as a skilled hunter capable of easily stalking and taking down her enemies. While this will most certainly prove true, she is by no means at the very top of the food chain. While Lara hunts Trinity, their forces are hunting her, and they’re not the only ones.
In the last two games, Lara’s only had to contend with one enemy faction at a time. It looks like this won’t be the case in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Trinity’s extremely well-equipped army stands on one side, and ancient temple guards stand on another. As if that weren’t enough, Lara also has watch out for the rainforest’s laundry list of apex predators. Danger is closing in on Lara from all sides, maybe enough to overcome even this most formidable of tomb raiders.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 14.
