Halo: The Master Chief Collection has finally gotten it’s long-awaited summer update. With this update comes quality of life improvements such as faster load times across the board, improved matchmaking, better LAN support, custom installation options and of course the usual suite of visual upgrades that come with getting the Xbox One X treatment.
When played on an Xbox One X console, Halo: The Master Chief Collection will is now capable of displaying in 4K Ultra High Definition with HDR support. Xbox One owners who don’t have the game will also have the option to pick it up via Xbox Game Pass starting on September 1. Rumor has it that this isn’t the last major update the MCC will receive, but both Microsoft and 343 Industries have yet to confirm it.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently available on Xbox One.
