Warhammer: Inquisitor – Martyr Brings Extends the Fight Against Chaos to Console Space

Warhammer: Inquisitor – Martyr, an incredibly feature-rich action/RPG set in the Warhammer 40k universe, is coming to consoles later this month. This first game of its type for Warhammer 40k casts players as a powerful Inquisitor and pits them against the abominable creatures of the warp. It can be played solo, but is best enjoyed as a cooperative experience.

In addition to the genre-standard looting and shooting, Warhammer: Inquisitor – Martyr offers players a suite of features to enjoy. Two players can enjoy local co-op, and up to four can play together online. Inquisitors can adhere to any of three character classes and associated variants. Choosing is just a matter of determining which style best suits one’s inquisitor as they purge the forces of Chaos. Players can also use their influence as Inquisitors to build their own factions; These organizations aren’t mandatory, but they’re recommended. Keeping an entire persistent world under control is difficult, even for a powerful inquisitor.

Warhammer: Inquisitor – Martyr launches for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 28.
