August will have a hefty update of free content for Gran Turismo Sport. Closing on one year since release, the game came off a bit limited at release but continues to receive free content almost monthly. The Red Bull Ring will be joining the track selection. Situated in Styria, Austria, the Red Bull Ring offers high-speeds and tight corners. The circuit is on plenty of race calendars including Formula One, so this is certainly a good opportunity to take Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes F1 car.
The car selection for this month is mostly vintage cars. Highlighted by the Ford Mark IV Race Car ’67 and Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe ’64, it will total eight in general for the update. GT League will also get three new events that include the Bettle & Samba Bus Festa, Group 3 Cup, and Nostalgic 1979. In Sport Mode, players can now view archived championship rankings and test their network connection. Finally, players can explore the Zagato Museum, go to Cuba in Scapes Mode, and race on Saint-Croix in the Circuit Experience. The list of cars is below along with the trailer.
