Release Date Announced for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes

Award-winning Japanese developer, Grasshopper Manufacture, has announced that the highly anticipated Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in 2019. Additionally, the studio has shared details on its collaboration with Devolver Digital to feature in-game t-shirts based on their wide variety of indie titles.

This collaboration will include in-game shirts based on hits like Hotline Miami, enter the Gungeon, Mother Russia Bleeds, Hatoful Boyfriend, Ruiner, The Messenger and more. Travis Strikes Again will have over 51 different in-game indie shirts at launch–with more being revealed in the coming months. This title from Grasshopper Manufacture is a high energy 3D action title. Our protagonist Travis wields a devastating Beam Katana to massacre his way through countless enemies and bosses in an epic battle with Badman.

Set in the remote countryside of the southern US, seven years have passed since the events of No More Heroes. Badman has come to collect his revenge on Travis for the murder of his daughter, Badgirl. In a Tron-esque twist, these two foes are sucked inside the phantom game console, “Death Drive MK-II”, a machine developed by Doctor Juvenile. Whomever can beat all six of its games will have their wishes granted. Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will launch for the Nintendo Switch on January 18, 2019.
