DICE Drops Additional Battlefield V Firestorm Details

DICE today released additional details about Battlefield V’s battle royale mode, Firestorm.

On Tuesday, DICE revealed the first details about Firestorm. The mode would feature 64 players split into 16 teams of four. Vehicles and destruction would be key pillars as squads fight to be the last one standing. Today, DICE dropped even more details.

Developed by Criterion Games, Firestorm blends battle royale action with Battlefield’s formula. Players compete to complete objectives that’ll pop up around the map. Similar to objectives in Conquest, some will be found at fixed locations on the map, and some at random. Completing these objectives rewards the squad with supplies, weapons, and vehicles.

To get around the largest Battlefield map ever, players need vehicles. Control powerful tanks, including the Panzer, or find a Jeep that’ll get you where you need to go. Also, when combined with destruction, Firestorm promises to be the most explosive battle royale yet.

Battlefield V is out November 20 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Firestorm comes free with every copy of the game.
