Treyarch Drops First Call of Duty: Blackout Trailer

Treyarch today released the first gameplay trailer for Blackout, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s new battle royale mode.

Blackout drops 80 players into a giant map filled to the brim with classic Black Ops locations. Players engage in classic Call of Duty action as they work to be the last-man standing. Today’s gameplay trailer gives us our first real look at how the mode plays.

As promised with yesterday’s map reveal, Blackout lifts many of its locations from signature Black Ops maps. You have Firing Range, Array, Nuketown, and Raid among others. The trailer also revealed that zombies are involved in some way.

Players can go hands-on with Blackout starting September 10 on PS4. Xbox One and PC players can join in starting September 14. Those who played the multiplayer beta automatically have access to the Blackout beta.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out October 12 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
