Square Enix Bringing Back Even More Final Fantasy in 2019

If Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac age wasn’t enough for both Nintendo Switch and Xbox One owners in 2019, Square Enix have decided to go [almost] all-in with porting over a large bulk of the mainline Final Fantasy series by announcing that Final Fantasy VII, IX, X and X-2 will all eventually be making their way to both platforms across 2019. Interestingly, Final Fantasy VIII is nowhere to be seen.

This is on top of the recently-announced Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition as well as both the Switch and PS4 getting remastered versions of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles — Xbox owners sadly missing out on the latter title. World of Final Fantasy: Maxima — also announced today and coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch & PC — caps off what looks to have been a relatively Final Fantasy-heavy day so far as news is concerned.
