Sony will be joining Nintendo in releasing a retro console that is being built in-house. The PlayStation Classic will be 45% smaller than the original PlayStation and come with two non-analog controllers. It also comes with a HDMI cable and a USB cable and will launch with 20 games. The five that have been announced are Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms.
The original console launched 25 years ago and shipped 100 million units worldwide during it’s life cycle. It will be available for $99.99 on December 3. With the controllers lacking the joysticks, this might help narrow down ideas on what the other games could be. Check out the trailer below.
