Spike Chunsoft announced today that the long-awaited New Japan Pro Wrestling collaboration DLC has been released for the PC version of the game on Steam. The game was first released there in early access form over a year ago, and we loved it then. The release of the game on the PlayStation 4 last month didn’t just bring it to consoles, but also brought with it a licensing deal with NJPW – the second-largest wrestling company in the world. In doing so, there is now a pro wrestling game with the Bullet Club featured in it along with some of the biggest non-WWE stars in the world. However, this DLC was delayed on PC without a set release date once the PS4 version launched. The surprise release of the game brings with it new moves to the game, new edit parts, and the news that future DLC will be released in packs and will be released across both the PC and PS4 version at the same time. This DLC costs $19.99 on its own – but is included on the PS4 version at no extra charge. However, that version costs $49.99 while the PC version is $29.99 – so the pricing is identical for the complete experience now.
