Square Enix’s Left Alive Gets March Release

Square Enix’s upcoming survival/action-based shooter Left Alive will release next March, the developer-publisher today announced. Set in the 22nd century — the year 2127 to be precise — in the fictional war-torn city-state of Novo Slava, Left Alive centers around three separate protagonists as the game charts each character’s attempt to survive and escape the conflict.

The development team behind Left Alive include Toshifumi Nabeshima (director of the Armored Core series), Takayuki Yanase (whom helped design mechs for games such as Xenoblade Chronicles X) and perhaps most notably Yoji Shinkawa of Kojima Productions, whose unique style when it comes to character designs, has helped give the Metal Gear Solid series a distinct visual flair. To get a better idea of the state of 22nd century affairs on Earth, you can catch the game’s latest trailer below. Left Alive will release for PS4 & PC on March 5.
