Return of the Obra Dinn, Next Title from Papers, Please Creator, Out Next Week

Back in 2013, former Naughty Dog developer Lucas Pope released Papers, Please, a cult classic indie title that explored the fictional country of Arstotzka and its harsh immigration policies.

For the past four years, Pope has been hard at work on a follow-up title known as Return of the Obra Dinn, which embraces a unique art style and dives into the fate of the titular ship from the East India Company during the early 1800s. After this extensive development period, Pope has finally announced that Return of the Obra Dinn will release on PC on October 18, and could end up being a longer title than Papers, Please, offering up to forty hours of playtime for the most dedicated players.
