Bungie has revealed that going forward, all Destiny 2: Forsaken purchases will include the previous two expansions.
Prior to launch, Bungie came under fire for the controversial decision to make Destiny 2 players purchase all previous expansions to access Forsaken. The move was unpopular, especially consider how terrible Curse of Osiris and Warmind were. However, the studio has opted to alter course. Effective October 16, all future purchases of Forsaken come with both expansions. Players who’ve only just hopped into Destiny can choose whether to play or bypass them and hop straight into Forsaken.
For those who’ve already purchased Forsaken, and the two expansion packs, Bungie has rewards for you. Anyone who played Forsaken before October 16 will receive the Tiger Stripe Black Shader, Veterans Nameplate emblem, two exotic emotes, and a consumables bundle. Veterans can nab their package of rewards starting in December.
Destiny 2: Forsaken is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
