Spike Chunsoft has been developing DLC for Fire Pro Wrestling World for quite some time – with some early DLC being things like adding in Yoshihiro Takayama, and the biggest DLC coming alongside the PS4 release in a ton of New Japan Pro Wrestling content. Today, the company revealed the release plans for the highly-anticipated Fire Promoter mode that will allow you to be the promoter of your own company in late 2018. In early 2019, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship Fighting Road DLC will be released. It’s similar to what was done in the regular Fighting Road with the IWGP Heavyweight Title, only with the juniors being the focal point. A third set of Fighting Road DLC was announced without a set theme – but tag team content would make the most sense, hopefully with a roster update that includes the Young Bucks. Beyond that, planned updates will do things like help load times and add new moves and venues alongside more entrance music. We greatly enjoyed the PS4 version when it was released in August this past year, and got a lot out of the PC version as well.
