Activision today announced the creation of the first ever, fire breathing and talking Spyro drone.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy launches in just a few weeks, and Activision has a dynamite launch plan. A Spyro drone will soar across the United States starting today from ‘Stone Hill’ near New York City. From there, it’ll visit towns and landscapes that bare a resemblance to locations from the trilogy. The drone will eventually deliver an early copy of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to Snoop Dogg.
“We can’t wait for fans to see this awesome fire-breathing and talking Spyro drone and encourage everyone to have their phones ready to catch Spyro on his journey,” said Michelle Fonseca, Senior Product and Marketing Director, Activision. “Spyro the Dragon is such a pop culture classic and we’re thrilled to bring this beloved character to fans for the launch of the newly remastered series, Spyro Reignited Trilogy.”
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a full remaster of the three PlayStation classics. All three games feature new visuals, effects, and dialogue, though the classic gameplay remains intact. As a result, you’re getting a experience that is new and familiar at the same time.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is out November 13 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
