General Grevious Finally Drops into Star Wars Battlefront II

EA and DICE today unleashed General Grevious for all Star Wars Battlefront II players.

Nearly a year since the release of the last batch of heroes, a new hero has finally arrived. General Grevious, the Supreme Commander of the Droid Army for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, is now playable in Star Wars Battlefront II. As a hero character, players can unlock him by accruing Battle Points and spending them in-game.

Grevious’ moveset pulls heavily from his appearances in Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars. Grevious typically fights with two lightsabers, but pulls out an additional two when rushing an enemy. His disturbing crab walk and intimidating lightsaber spin also make an appearance. You can learn more about his moves here. Also, if you pay attention closely, the trailer also features our first glimpse of Geonosis and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

General Grevious is the third hero to be added to the game follow Finn and Captain Phasma. Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to hit Battlefront II in November. Count Dooku follows in January, and Anakin Skywalker in February. It is unknown what, if any content DICE has planned following Anakin.

Star Wars Battlefront II is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
