Resident Evil 7 Publisher Appoints Rob Dyer as New COO of Capcom USA

Rob Dyer has been appointed as the chief operating officer (COO) for Capcom USA, the publisher and developer announced.

The new COO has 25 years of experience in the gaming industry and has held senior positions at several companies, including Sony Interactive Entertainment America, Zynga, Eidos Interactive and Crave Entertainment.

The Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Monster Hunter: World publisher says that their latest recruit has had “extensive experience leading initiatives on a global scale to drive sales and growth.”

Dyer will report to Capcom U.S. CEO Kiichiro Urata and his duties will focus primarily on the company’s publishing business in the territories, ranging from sales to marketing and operations.

“Rob’s strategic acumen, deep industry knowledge and established networks will play a vital role for Capcom’s business goals,” Urata said.

“He will help steer the success of our incredible portfolio of popular brands such as Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Devil May Cry and more.”
