This is an outstanding sale for RPG fans, and the best pricing the Ys series as a whole has had on PC in quite some time – and the steepest discount I can recall for Ys VIII. The Legend of Heroes is more of a hidden gem series given that even on the PSP, its original home, it was underrated. Now on PC, you can enjoy the whole series as a heavy discount. It’s an isometric turn-based RPG, and those seeking a slower-paced and more relaxed affair will like it. Those wanting more action will love the Ys games, with Ys VIII not only being the newest and most modern entry, but probably the most user-friendly too.
