Curve Digital’s Narcos Adaptation Hitting PC, Consoles Q3 of Next Year

UK-based developer and publisher Curve Digital dished out the first piece of in-game footage (and revealing exactly what genre of game it actually is to begin with) for their upcoming adaptation of the popular Netflix-exclusive series, Narcos. Described as a turn-based, action-strategy title, Narcos: Rise of the Cartels, to give it its full name, is based around the first season of the TV adaptation wherein players take the role of either the Medellin Cartel or the DEA.

Developer Kuju, in collaboration with Gaumont — the studio behind the original series — are helming the project with the developer using Unreal Engine in the process. Curve Digital have also stated that Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is planned for release for PC and consoles sometime in Q3 of next year. You can see brief glimpses of the in-game locale in the teaser trailer below.
