Wonderful Rhythm Game VOEZ Gets Another Eleven Songs in Latest Update

No one will blame you for not catching sight of VOEZ when it originally launched a week after the Nintendo Switch made its debut on March 3 — despite the small number of launch titles to accompany Nintendo’s hybrid-console at the time — given most of the discussion revolved, obviously, around The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and VOEZ itself was a port of a mobile game that originally launched on iOS devices in May 2016.

But credit where credit’s due to developer Rayark in keeping to their promise of constantly updating the game with new content and now, more than a year and a half after its launch on the Switch, VOEZ enters into its latest 1.5 update with a further eleven tracks — bringing the total number of songs in the game to nearly two hundred.

Though it’s clear to see the game maintains most of its mobile design for a console such as the Switch — though the developer has updated the game to include Joy-Con support — don’t let its touch-screen controls or simplified interface fool you as VOEZ is a surprisingly enjoyable rhythm game and a real gem among the ever-increasing Switch eShop, complete with a diverse track-listing and some pleasant visuals to accompany. You can see a break-down of the songs included in the latest update, in the trailer below.
