Pokémon: Let’s Go Sells Combined Three Million Copies in First Week

It may not be the “core” RPG that fans have been waiting for ever since it was first mentioned back at E3 2017, but unsurprisingly, Pokémon: Let’s Go has started strongly upon its first week of release. It was The Pokémon Company themselves that made the announcement earlier today on Twitter, stating that first week sales globally of both Pokémon: Lets Go, Pikachu and Pokémon: Lets Go, Eevee have surpassed three million copies sold.

We don’t know the exact figures for either release, though if you were to count both titles as one, it means that it’s already beaten other Nintendo Switch exclusives as far as total sales go. Leap-frogging the likes of Kirby Star Allies, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and ARMS to become the fifth-highest selling game in a mere seven days.
