EA and DICE today revealed what new content players can expect in the first chapter of Tides of War.
Battlefield V is set to receive it’s first major update since launch tomorrow, December 4. It kicks off Chapter 1: Overture, the first chapter in Tides of War. Unlike previous games, Battlefield V doesn’t feature paid DLC. Instead, new content will be distributed through new chapters in Tides of War.
Overture adds in a variety of new single player and multiplayer content for players to consume. In the new War Story, The Last Tiger, you join the German crew of a Tiger I tank. Operating the near-indestructible death machine, you’ll face off against the enemy as you attempt to hold back the American invasion.
For multiplayer, a ninth map joins the rotation. Panzerstorm takes place on the Belgian countryside where rolling hills and grassy plains make up the terrain. A vehicle heavy map, you’ll want to man a tank here. The update also adds in the Practice Range, new weapons, outfits, challenges, and new customization options.
Battlefield V is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
