As of today, Persona 4 is no longer the only game in the series to have a rhythm-oriented spin-off. Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight come to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita today, and they’re bringing their best dance crews and moves with them.
Neither of these games feature a brand new story like Persona 4: Dancing All Night did, but there’s still something here for fans of the series. Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight gives fans a chance to get to know the members of SEES a bit better, and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight provides a little insight into the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. Both games feature selections and remixes from their respective soundtracks and plenty of opportunities to dress up one’s favorite characters for the occasion.
As for which game to get, it’s really just a matter of which soundtrack and characters one likes more. For those that like both and wanna check out everything these titles have to offer, there’s also the combination Endless Night Edition. These games aren’t everything they could be, but Persona fans should find plenty to enjoy nonetheless.
