Disney Magic Kingdoms has smashed its way past €100 million in worldwide revenue, Gameloft and The Walt Disney Company have announced.
The free-to-play mobile title, which launched in 2016, has also surpassed seventy million downloads.
Gameloft and Disney are celebrating the milestone with new Wreck-It Ralph-inspired content, which is the title’s “biggest update ever” since its release.
Ralph Breaks the Internet update introduces Vanellope von Schweetz and other gaming characters from the 2012 critically acclaimed movie. Players will find themselves trying to stop a devastating virus from spreading throughout the Magic Kingdom.
As part of the content, players will also receive access to twelve new attractions, concessions and decorations. There will also be new ‘comfy costumes’ for several Disney princesses, including Cinderella, Jasmine, Belle and Ariel.
Disney Magic Kingdoms is available on both iOS and Android devices.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this key milestone for Disney Magic Kingdoms as it demonstrates how beloved the game is by players,” says Stéphane Roussel, the chairman and chief executive officer at Gameloft.
“Working with Disney to bring their latest stories to life through the game is an honor and we are delighted to continue offering players new, iconic content day after day.”
