Stranger Things is getting a new game next year. Judging by the trailer, it looks like it’ll be a retro-styled isometric adventure-beat ’em up wherein fans can play as Sheriff Jim Hopper (and some friends) as he does his best to keep the town of Hawkins from succumbing to the supernatural forces plaguing it.
During the game’s announcement at the Game Awards 2018, the show’s creators came on stage and briefly discussed the game, mentioning that Stranger Things 3: The Game would be picking up after the events of Stranger Things Season 3, so fans will be able to continue the story a bit without having to wait for the next season to come around. It was also mentioned that fans will be able to play cooperatively across PC, Xbox One and Switch if they so desire.
Stranger Things 3: The Game will be coming to PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
