Capcom today launched a Devil May Cry 5 demo exclusively on Xbox One.
At The Game Awards 2018 last night, Capcom showed off a new trailer for Devil May Cry 5. The trailer heavily features new gameplay for Nero and Dante as well as V, a brand new character. Unlike Nero, who focuses on up close combat, and Dante, who wields a large menagerie of weapons, V focuses more on ranged combat. He can summon his own demons to attack hostile demons. However, when the fight gets up close and personal, he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty.
However, it’s what came at the end of the trailer that has players excited. If you own an Xbox One, you can download a demo right now. No word on if it’ll eventually launch on PS4 and Xbox One. The trailer also confirmed that the Bloody Palace returns as a free update in April, a month after the game launches.
Devil May Cry 5 is out March 8, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
